Elos 120XL sump. Incredible build quality, polished edges, clean seams, tinted sides... very awkward in function though. The Italians have a much different view on flow/plumbing in a sump to say the least. Hopefully I can make it work. :p

@sharis100 I used to raise sailfin mollies when I was a kid growing up in Florida.

I’d be interested to know if they are still available? They would make a beautiful addition to a reef tank!

I purchased my sailfin adults and they acclimated beautifully to 1.026 no issues. Apparently, the breeders keep them in brackish to salt water and the LFS pick them up for sale in fresh water. Mine have been having babies and eating like piggies for a while now. I am going to let these female babies grow up since they have a different genetic background from the males in the tank and hope that they breed as well. Eventually, hope to be able to share when the breeding becomes more stable and sustainable with these salt mollies.
 
I found this picture of a male on a website with sailfin’s for sale, which resemble the one’s we had. Are yours like these?
