Random pic of the day thread

I have to say, looking back at the very start of this thread, it's interesting to see how much the cameras in everyone's phones have improved in the last 4 years 😁
My pic was taken with my wife’s Nikon w/ an orange filter. The file type is Nikon. The JPG file didn’t have as good a color.

Changeup: freshwater! Boring, typical tank, I know, but it made the kids happy, and it has skrimps!

I almost never see all four of my Amano shrimp in the same place, at the same time, and I recently discovered to my surprise that I had not two, but three females, all of which are now continuously berried. Plus, I've seen as many as four different neocaridina nypmhs out at the same time, so I'm sure there's a lot more. Of the ones I ordered, 2 black, 2 yellow, 2 red, and 2 red/clear made it to this tank, and I've had at least 2 more red/clear make it to adulthood so far - I'm really interested to see how their genetics play out and what I wind up with over time.

If I'd known then what I know now, I'd have aquascaped it differently, tho, with the sword in the right corner, the wisteria all along the back wall, and something short in the foreground. Oh well. And yes, that's a piece of dead coral behind the airplane, I was hoping to get some slow carbonate release from it, along with all the shells I scattered about.

That's the whole show, thanks for looking! Once I have my reef going, I'll dig my DSLR out and do it better justice.
