Thank you! My biggest problem last time, was going through a divorce and not being able to give my tanks the attention they needed. The Forest Fire Digi in my bedroom is doing fantastic for a few months now. Even survived and fully recovered from one of my anemone dropping over it for a few minutes during a water change.

The nub of that I broke off while trying to move the main colony, purple stylo, birdsnest, and Rainbow stylo all have full poly extension and new growth forming. Having the extra water volume is also helping keep things more stable. Hopefully things stay like this and I’ll be able to join the big league sticks here soon.

Well, after Hunna's pics I don't wanna share...

But I will.

20250303_185034.jpgEarly in yesterday's efforts. I forgot to snap a pic after, and had to pack it away into the garage tonight before the storm hits. This is actually turning out to be even more difficult than expected - probably would have been somewhat easier had I been using Marco. I'm way better at making useless smaller boulders than the more desirable irregular pieces, but this is fine. Also realized a bit far into making this first piece that there's probably not normally much that's "sharp" in a reef, and I need to be filing down some of these edges I'm creating.

I kinda hate breaking it up though, thinking of the millions of years it took for it to become what it is.

Found whilst breaking the rock up, thought it was neat.

Thought the pores and striations were interesting, not sure exactly what this is, other than seemingly calciferous, perhaps.

Same rock as before... is this just umpteen-hundred years' worth of coral growth??

Last, though far from least: the 220 gallon monster, sitting in my shop, waiting more patiently than I am for me to be ready for it.
