Has anyone ever heard of a rbta splitting 3 times in 3 days! My RBTA went from about the size of fist too 3 the size of half dollars!

YAY! Congrats! That is exciting. If you are selling any of the splits, we'd be very interested.

Maybe a little later, I'm going to wait to make sure they all live. I have two clowns that are considerable bigger than the anemones. I'm hoping they don't bash them to death.
Now if I can only get the GBTA to split, it is the size of a dinner plate.

Wish mine would do that. Its mother has done that - split 3 ways.

Yes, I heard recently of a RBTA that naturally split into 3 sections. I believe that it occurred after a large water change.

while this is good news, check you water parameters carefully. Anenome division in home aquaria is often a sign, more so then not of unstable conditions. The only way to ensure they live is for them to split to increase their chance of survival during stressful times. I would make sure they have adequate flow, so that bacteria does not set in, and increase your photoperiod. Their mouth will take a week or two to fully heal and its thier only form of energy during this time. Addition of iodine will also help their recovery... and congrats...

Well formatted.

I must have some stable water in my 100 gallon cube then, because I have two RBTAs, one I have had for over 1 1/2 years, and the other for a year at least, and neither has ever split. Actually doesn't bother me because at least right now they are staying put and haven't taken any walks towards my Vortech.

It looks like my anemone is starting to split right now... should I be worried about my water conditions? I haven't tested in a few days, but they have been good....
