I'm tempted to try it once I am done with these boxes of reef crystals.
I have no prob with reef crystals. It has been a very consistent and good salt. Since I have been using it, I've had no algae, no swings and no crashes. I advocate it and will continue to use io or RC on my 210.
As for my sps tank... When I first started it(in my 50g) I started using a mix of the brightwell's neomarine and the tropic Marin bio-activ. Man, did I get some outstanding colors!!! Growth was great too. I used and eheim canister and a hang on skimmer. At the time, space and money were huge issues, so I went cheap and small. I fought algae, I don't know if that can be blamed on the salt, but colors were fantastic.
When I moved, and upgraded to the cube, I used up the last of my neomarine making water for the initial set up and switched to RC. Every thing has adjusted and has began to take off in growth, but the color is gone. There is something missing. There are so many variables, that I cannot blame a salt. I've recently began dosing trace elements and some amino acids. I've notices a FEW colors getting better.
Maybe red sea pro can fix that missing link. I only hear good things about it.
