Does anyone run a redundant pump and heater? I have an Apex system and would have to imagine a way that this can be done. My biggest fear when I am traveling is that the heater or pump go's. I have alerts from the Apex set up but no way would she be able to install either (maybe she could handle the heater). Any tips, ideas, or drawbacks to redundancy?

I always ran two heaters in my 90g, just because it was easy. I plugged them both into the same outlet on my Apex bar.
+1 I do the same thing with my heaters.
Wouldn't you have enough flow with your power heads to be ok until you got back?

I run two heaters (without controllers). One is active: Sun, Tue, Thu, and Sat. The other is active: Mon. Wed, and Fri.
