Hello,

I’m thinking about going.

Has anyone been? Is it worth the trip? Are the frags affordable?

Just looking for some insight.

I've been before and I'll be going again this year. For me it's mostly social, catching up with reefing friends and there's usually speakers that I' want to see.
I always walk around and check out the tags but I very rarely buy. There's always a good selection and the regulars have good prices with a few showpieces for big money.

I guess my biggest question is how to bring stuff back.

If I buy stuff on Saturday, will it survive in a bag until Monday when I get home?

If you can keep the temperature steady, yes. Easily.

I have had coral survive 4 days in transit. Letting it get a little on the cooler side actually slows them down, and the survive longer bagged up (high 60s low 70s)

A lot of the vendors will hold stuff for you until Sunday. I’ve noticed the best deals are on Sunday too. There’s some nice stuff there and a lot of selection. Wish I could go again this year.
