Reefkeeper lite temp probe problems

Has anyone had any problems with the rk lite temp probes? My temp is jumping around a lot and i don't know why. It will show 78.8 one second and then 79.2 the next. Anyways no rhyme or reason to the numbers that show just kinda random. Any ideas? Bad probe? Bad controller? Also can you clean these probes with vinegar??

Bad probe. Mine will do this after a while or read a error message

I've gone through two in the past two years they only seem to last a year. Just hooked up my third one this week.

Before you just change it, try giving DA Customer Service a call. I had an apparent bad RKL temp probe that was actually some type of programming glitch. I cannot remember the particulars, but they had me push a few buttons and it was good, and it was not calibrating the probe. Sorry I can't be more specific...been a while.
