i have a REALLY great stand that my dad (rip) helped me build a few years ago that I want to refinish for my new tank project.
The doors and panels have a raised rim around them that we made out of poplar (has some cool grain), but the inside of the panels are just a basic oak color. I would LOVE for it to be black, but I don't want the grain to show through.
I was thinking something like a black colored poly, but I couldn't find such a thing. I COULD pour it since it all has rims.. .
any suggestions? I want it black and shiny
