I do not remember how long I have been running the 5100K bulb, I guess about a month or so. I would not say my Chaeto has doubled in size but it is close to that. By far the best fuge light I can think of though!

Found another good fuge bulb at Lowes. It's a 26 watt (100 watt "equivalent") version of this http://genet.gelighting.com/LightProducts/Dispatcher?REQUEST=CONSUMERSPECPAGE&PRODUCTCODE=47466">GE 6500K bulb</a> for around $9.

It's very bright and has visibly less yellow than the 5100's I had initially.
