I added the brs aquatec 8800 booster to my ro/di and changed my 75 gpd to a upgrade 150 gpd filter
I ran 30 gallons in no time. No more leaving it on all night. I can't believe how much faster it is now:up:

Glad is working for you! I'm going to add another membrane to my system and wondering if I would end up needing a booster pump too. And wondering if that could help reduce my waste ratio since I'm thinking to din them parallel. BTW are you able to name provider and price? Thank you!

I had a lot of waste water and my psi without booster was 45 psi and it took forever to fill 80 gallons so I added the Bulk reef 8800 aquatec and it works great Put it up to 80+ psi and was very easy to install
I wish I would have added it a year ago I believe the pump with shut off kit was 135$

Music to my ears. I just ordered the 8800 and additional 75 god membrane last week. Should be at my doorstep any day. I am on city of ATL water and I've seen my water bill skyrocket since making my own rodi. I am estimating that I will save about $40 month on water with the new gear. It will pay for itself in no time.

You should update this thread with your water savings after u get ur next bill.

Thank you! From the info that I been gathering (I might be wrong) seems like the reducing on the waste water would be less if I plug the waste output from one membrane to the input of the second one, but this reduces also the life of the second membrane. I will end up buying a BP anyways, thx!

We just added the same pump to our 150 gpd (2 x 75) too. Yep yep!

We can get them in for customers too (along with any/all RO parts). Should have done it ages ago, water shortage issues solved.
