Just wanted to document this setup and since I've been kicked off FB I thought I'd post it on ARC. I'm coming back to reefing after a long hiatus. My previous system, around 500+ gallon, including multiple tanks and refuges all on the same system, was in the basement and was a nightmare to keep up with for maintenance. It ran smooth and was a stable thriving marine eco system. Sudden deployment back in 09' to AFG prompted me to sell everything quickly. I definitely will never go that big again, it consumes you. But this NIB/used, never setup SCA 50G, was a steal that I couldn't pass up since I recently got the itch again. Picked it up off FB MP for $1000K still in original packing. Bought a new return and skimmer, felt they were underpowered for the bioload I plan on adding. Its amazing how much I've forgotten over the past almost 20 years of being in this hobby and how much tech has changed.

I know how that feels to be burned out. lol.

I also came back to hobby after like 4-5 years break and went with nano cube…. 18x18x18.

CUBE tank is very different when it comes to the flow. Lot harder to get it way you will want…

Any idea as what you are going for this time around?!

Amazon & BRS came through and finally received all the equipment for the setup. Current state of tank.
