So i finally got off my butt and did some things. I mounted my led strips to light my fuge. Got hinges and handles for the stand doors. Plumbed in the fuge well that was like a month ago but you havent seen it yet, Pics on the way

Thanks Doc its coming along good, the sump has no baffles yet because I dont have the skimmer i want yet, dang germans and thier papers!!! j/k

Thaks to Ben in milledgville as well for the big birdsnest he gave me its doing great as well. I think I'm at my bio load limit for now. I've got a pair of yellow watchmens, pair of naked clowns, blue green chromi, coral beauty, and now a small yellow tang. Two shrimp one blood red and one skunk, few snails and hermits and a conch. I'm just gonna add coral from here out. Thanks to all for the help and support to make this happen, Thanks to mapleredta for being my road dawg as well.

My new Sun Coral, I've had it for three days and have been staying up late trying to get it to eat. Tonite i had success this is the best its responded yet. It my new fav

So its been a while since I've done much to the tank other than maintain it. I bought a new Camera and it kinda rekindled my intrest. I've been able to keep all my params in decent check for someone who isnt dosing and has a crappy skimmer. I've never really had a problem with algae other than brown algae on my glass. I cut back on my feeding and it pretty much solved that. I do however have some turf that has started growing pretty good on the rocks. It came from a snail I threw in there from when I transfered my stuff out of my bros tank. No aptesia or anything like that. All my corals have grown ok but not as rapid as a better system.

The first thing I've done recent was order a BRS dual GFO and Carbon reactor. It assembled great and feels very solid. Rinsing was easy as well as additional setup. Here are some pics of the reactor before I installed it. I ordered the unit, media, Coral Rx, Purple Epoxy and a set of rubber coated magnets that are incrediably strong for thier size. I also ordered another sediment filter for my RODI unit. The picture shows the old one. The new filter was the RO Saver filter its 2 bucks more and supposed to last twice as long. I didnt have any pressure drop, I just didnt like the rust color the old one had developed.

Now that is some Georgia red clay. Mine looked like that last time I changed it as well.

Glad you once again caught that spark. Come over one of these days and see a real tank. That'll give you some more motivation too. LOL Looks great buddy. We need to make a round at the stores soon.
