I attended my first meeting last month. I swung by optimum aquariums and picked up an octo 110, had to talk the guy down on the price but we came to an aggrement.
Here are some pics of the skimmer and it in the sump. Thats it for now but friday I am getting my emporer 40 watt UV, finally I can add some more fish.

I got my new/used Uv emporer 40 w and man this thing is a beast check it out. Best one on the market.

thanks broseph, I'll get some tank shots soon. Trying to get the mystery turf algae under control. Maybe just maybe the uv coming soon will help it from spreading at least. Very ashamed about it I could have avoided it all if I just would have had the heart to kill that one snail. Oh well the snail is still kickin and is freakin huge.
