So what did you get at the expo?

Zoas- Absolute zero, rastas, cornbread infernos, copper mauls, fruit loops
SPS- Green Tort

I couldn't make it, but saw that Gonzo was bringing a Colorado Sunurst Anemone. These are nice. Did anyone from the club get one?

It was gorgeous. When I left it was still there though. I got...cool corals...the names of which have already been mostly forgotten:confused2:.

I had a great time and it was awesome meeting the vendors. Thanks Club

I'll get some pics later, heading out of town this morning, but I got some nice zoas from frag junky, agent orange acan from WWC, awesome orange chalice from Gonzo, and a nice pastel war coral as my free piece I'm guessing from spikes corals

My wife, son and I picked up a quite a few corals.
I've forgotten what all we picked up. My tank looks like it collided with a frag truck.

The first coral that we bought was by my 10 year old son.
He's starting to stock his tank. He added two clowns the day before and wanted a Torch for the clowns.

Just after he bought it, he needed to go to the restroom.
I'm standing there, waiting for him and this guy walks in and says "so you came to the coral expo to buy a green Torch?".

Yeah, well...

It was a good deal and my son enjoyed shopping for it.

I figured it was supposed to be some kind of "LE" anemone. I heard him say he wanted 400 for it.Didnt look any different than a typical red/green bta to me.

I know he did sell the nem.. I wanted to check it out in person but didnt have time til like after 4pm and it was gone. Had heard it was nice! The $400 deff made me question it, but people snap them up,,

The Colorado Sunburst is basically a very nice flame tip nem. $400 is a steep price, which I think is his "regular" price. He sells them for $350 shipped sometimes. No break at the Expo, apparently. I have seen them cheaper on RC classifieds from secondary buyers that have a split.

I could not keep one alive when I bought one a couple years ago, and never could figure out why, since I had RBTAs in the tank before, during and after the time I had the Sunburst in my tank. Gonzo shipped it well, and mine seemed to do well for a couple weeks after I got it, but it slowly got smaller and smaller and eventually died after 4-6 weeks. Fault was on my end, I think.

My Sexy Corals Signature Anemone is doing great after several months in the tank, however.

I'm a "NEW" member been lurking here on the boards for years. this was the first event i went to.
I got

Rainbow monti_Reefworks
Monti setsoa _Reefworks
Tir color Acro Valadia _?? I don't know which nice and knowledable fellow I purchased this from :)
Reverse Prism Favia _ Guys in the corner (from Alabama or Lousiana?)
Bird of Paradise seriatopora ( same guys in the corner)

I have NO IDEA what my Free frag from ARC is ? it is a BIG FRAG -looks to be a SPS (arcro?) Peach colored with yellow or green Polyps

I'll post a Pic Later in hopes you all can help me ID it and point me in the a right direction in care and placement.

I HAD FUN _ thanks for the hard work in putting that together ARC peeples:up:

Just wanted to say it was a great convention and I enjoyed meeting, seeing and buying corals with and from some of you. I am new to ARC and have been in the area for about a year now. Glad there are people around that are as big of collectors as I am and look forward to meeting more of you in the future!

I got this as my freebie - Can anybody help ID it ? Sorry the iPhone doesn't take the best tank picts
