Ok, wanted to get more opinions...
I have a 150g with a ~ 30g sump now. If i went bigger, it would be no bigger than 210 with sump...
now - crappy turbo floater(?) skimmer so anything is better than it..
i want sps, lps, all
Now i have a medium to low bio load. maybe have like 2 large (5"), 4 md (2-4"), a blenny, shrimp, etc.

should i get an Octo x 200 or swc x 200? Or scrap them both for another? These are my 2 main choices so i would like them to be the only options unless there is something major wrong with them. thanks!
mike

I have the Octo Extreme 200 on my 150+40+100g sump set-up. The thing skims like crazy. I have been really happy with it.

Over the past 2 months I have had to replace more than 10 pumps on octo skimmers, I personally am running the extreme 200 and am pleased so far. If you go octo make sure to get the sicci (sp) pump. You might also consider the Ocean force 200, not chinese made and built with serious quality.

yeah, both the swc and octo x come with the sicce psk2500. i've heard of the octo brand more than the swc, but i think the swc supposedly way over performs the octo...at least in scfh...i plan to get one tonight...any last minute suggestions??

Yes, give me your-
"Aqua Medic Hang on Tank Turboflotor 1000 Multi Skimmer w/pump" :) (?)

Vote for Octo here... simply because every one I know who owns one loves it. I never met anybody with an SWC.

The Turboflotor Multi 1000 uses a single needle wheel pump (OR2500) for input flow and air injection but works fairly well if setup properly. There is a flow restrictor in the pump input the should be removed. They work MUCH better after removing it and IMO can handle up to a 75 gal. Do you have the taller feedneck that it came with? It may be needed once the restrictor has been removed. Make sure the air input nipple is clean where the tube connects.

Pics if interested. The short tube in the background has been removed from the pump input. It appears to be one piece at first glance.
