So I had a scopas tang already and decided to get a powder blue tang. The scopas tang has been showing a lot of aggression towards him. From your experience, will this subside as he gets use to his new tank mate?

Yes and no, however you can put some small mirrors around the tank to help.

Errrr never know with tangs but make some Nori available as often as you can tolerate and perhaps the well fed tang will not be so grumpy

Buy some 12x12 mirror panels (easily found online). Tape them to tank. Watch tangs go bananas. Remove after 48 hours. Scopad and PBT will be best buds, like, “we did it! We rule!”

Rearrange some rock structures if possible - that way both will be ‘new’ to the tank and territorial boundaries won’t be in place.
