Tank cloudy after wc

Caulerpa has its advantages as long as you harvest it regularly and keep an eye on it. It has risks too though :)

Update. Everyone is eating again. Both anemones are still alive. One came out for a while today. Tangs have stopped rapid gill movement. All coral alive and well. Best I can figure something got into the mixing bucket. Really have no idea. Hope things are on the rebound. I'll be doing another wc sunday. Thanks for the help everyone.

keep those water changes up. id be shooting to get all new water in there as fast as reasonably possible. glad things are turning around

I only run Reef Crystals by Instant Ocean salt, NOTHING ELSE, never had problems yet! they are well known for great reef salt

Edit: Also I never use my 5 gallon buckets for water changes, always use my in house 32 gallon brute to mix my new salt in . 5 gallon buckets are used for old tank water and disposed of. My son uses 1 marked car wash only , just to be on the safe side. From reading on past experiences of horror stories / tank crashes , most happen because we make little mistakes and get hand soap, dish soap , perfumes or other contaminants into our system by accident. I always 1. think and rethink before i mix and add new water to my tank, i always use the same towel for wipe water off my hands. only wash my towel and return sock in small amount of bleach only with extra rinse cycle. 2. always quarantine and dip fish and corals.

Update tank seems to be doing much better. All fish are eating and happy. Both anemones are now out and eating on the same rock. All of the coral are doing well. Still running carbon and will be doing my weekly water change again sunday. Several wc's since with no ill effects from the salt. Thanks to everyone for the help.
