Can any one recommed a very good quality TDS meter. I want it to be easy to use. If you do, please provide model number and where you bought it.

If you want one for your RO unit, Keen sells an in-line unit that I use. Has a pre RODI probe and a post RODI probe that you splice into the line. The LCD display unit mounts on the wall, and you turn it on and you can monitor TDS coming in and TDS of the product water. Only costs about $25.

I think this is the exact model I use:

I've got a couple of Spectrapure inline ones on the way - same price point.

Which do you think is best? Separetely, do you find it much more difficult to disconnect the quick-disconnect fittings when they are pressurized (for storage of the RO unit)?

The dual one goes on your RO unit as David described.

You can also get handheld ones - a bit more expensive - you'd collect a sample of the water you want to test and dip the probe in to take a reading.

Tony,
If you store your RO unit, then I'd get a handheld TDS meter. I don't store my RODI. It gets used every day, and it is mounted on my wall. If you don't have water going to the unit, then it is not under pressure. The QD fittings of the in-line unit remove/replace easily if you go that route.

Thank you Dave. I will follow your advice. And yes, my experience has been the same with respect to the QDs.
