Reef Keeping Laws:

2. Thou shall not use tap water
3. Thou shall cycle you tank and be patient
4. Thou shall give you tank regular maintenance
5. Thou shall not choose fish based solely on their looks
6. Thou shall not overstock
7. Thou shall not overfeed
8. Thou shall agree with all laws and quadruple thy laws based on personal screw ups!

9. Thou shall quarantine new fish. EVERY TIME.

10. Thou shall dip and inspect new corals. EVERY TIME.

11. Thou shall resist the urge to ask the same question again and again because thou didn't likest the answer received the first time.

12. Thou shall not think of yourself as the exception of the rules AKA don’t buy stock labeled for “experienced aquarists”
13. Thou shall not ridicule people for asking seemingly dumb questions. Unless, you hold a masters in marine biology.
14. Thou shall keep no trade secrets if you learned it or discovered it, share it.
15. Thou shall strive to maintain the optimum parameters
16. Thou shall always follow advice from more knowledgeable members.
17. Thou shall take estimated time to complete a reef project and triple it. Thou shall add two additional hours to thy new project time and STILL go over it.
