Have wanted a saltwater setup for years but just didn't have the time. Spent a lot of time at various stores window-shopping and finally found a decent used set-up and bought it. It is 75 gal display w/a 30 gal sump. Cycling tank now waiting to add my LR this week. If everyone will bear with me on any repetitive and often answered questions I would appreciate it! Welcome to the club, I agree that there are a bunch of good people here. If I can help let me know, although I may not be an expert, however if there's a noob mistake...I'm sure I've made it sometime. We were all beginners at some time, some may not remember as well ;-) so ask away.
Three rules
1- Pics or didn't happen
2- Try the search feature, it helps a lot. (not trying to be a smart). By the time it takes to search, many times it will come to why that may be a bad idea.
3- Post something to annoy Rich (rdnelson99) at least daily, this should count as my daily pester. If you can't come up with anything, I'll give one for free ask him about bean anal bar and grill.
Ok, Ok #2 may not be a rule as much as a personal goal

Edit: Sewer, just noticed in your bio the "home brewing" tag. I have had to quit brewing(worried I might become an alcoholic instead of just a plain drunkard) might need to get w/ya and make some trades/swaps! I keg brewed all of my batches so I have a lot of soda kegs and misc stuff I'm not using anymore. I as well have a full size, frige kegarator setup (co system, manifold and tap(s)) I could part with. Anyway, just wanted to throw that out there!

Sounds good Cap't. I can understand that last part all to well, it's a tough call to have to make. I don't brew anywhere like I used to... I 'm stuck drinking all the beer. Were you an all grain brewer or partial mash/extract? When you are ready to part shoot me a PM, I can even do some trading if you want.

welcome to the club. as you can see we have a few smart(bleep)s amoung us but you'll learn to love em. as its been said before if you have any questions keep em to yourself!! jk lol ask away a lot of people here like to talk so they love quesions but like ben said it is helpfull to try the search first just in case.
Number one rule I have learned the hard way many times...ad I'm new. HAVE PATIENTS!!!! Lol I messed my tank up because I rushed read stuff and learn from others don't try and figure it out all by yourself get some help. We don't mind.
