Totally confused

Good :)

You didn't answer the questions... how long had the shop had it? And do you know if they had it eating, and if so, what?

Methinks you'll be asking the next LFS clerk to feed the fish before you buy :D Everyone *should* do that. I learned that one the hard way, back in the day.

i do not know how long they had the fish?? and yes methinks i will make **** sure a fish eats before i buy next time. so the fish must be eating something off the rocks or she would be very weak by now?

Hard to say. Some fish can go a while without eating, although it's not ideal.

Sometimes they are "secret eaters" and will nibble when nobody is looking.

If your aiptasia on the rock in QT disappear over time, you'll know it's eating.

bad news, awoke this morning to find my Butterfly dead, she indeed starved herself to death. oh well another lesson learned, another fish in the graveyard. Aptasia continues to thrive. I enticed this fish with all kinds of food.

Sorry Stacy, I didn't notice Redfstinger didn't QT and did think you were talking about containerman.

Jen, thank you for being your usual awesome self helping us out with your great advise and knowledge.

How's the fish today?

Sorry for your loss, Jerry. They can be a tricky fish. Usually once they're eating, they're good, but getting them to that point can be a challenge.
