Trizzino's Tanks.

Haven't updated in awhile. This other project has been taking up my time and focus but now that it is pretty much done I am able to focus on the tank. I finally got the display tank to the new house. Got a new sump installed (sorry no picture yet), new Uv bulb on the way and then I gotta hook up my ato system I've had on a shelf for over a year.

And now to the tank!

Just wanted to give an update. I got my emperor aquatics UV sterilizer back up and running. Needed a new power supply and bulb. Added an algae scrubber and new (used) sump to the mix. Has a refug section which I haven't really setup just yet but ordered an led light and gooseneck. Just need some macro algae for it. With the new sump this setup is so much quieter now. Only issue is not as much water is in the return section so I have to top off more often than my old sump.

Also, I haven't shown my Dad's tank yet. He started with the standard black stand and the custom built a new surround for the front and redid his canopy. I don't have before pictures but this is what it looks like now.

In anticipation of tomorrow's photo workshop here are some before shots with my iPhone. Hope he teaches me what all my settings do.

Thank ya sir. I got reefbreeders new nano light for my birthday but its on backorder. I am excited to see how it performs for its small size.

Will you do a review on the RB nano? I am very interested in it and would like to see some user experience with the programming. Do you know if multiple fixtures can be linked? Like a master/slave orientation?

Sure, once I get it and set it up I will rent the PAR meter as well. I've been meaning to test my various lights anyways. I am not sure about syncing multiple fixtures and will check out the options on the app to see if they have that feature. I hope they do. I'll let you know when it comes in.

I saw on The website that the ETA was 2/20. Hopefully they come in soon.

At $179, this fixture appears to be very competitive with the AI Prime. The Prime + mounting arm runs $230-240 ish.

Just got an email update that the Nano-Lite WiFi is on back-order at the factory until Monday, March 25th. Bummer

Some before and after shots. About a year has passed and about 6 months of that was auto pilot when I was dealing with the new house. I barely did anything to the tank and it showed with slow growth and lost some corals.

Thanks Brett! It was hours of playing around for a couple weeks but I think I'm done... For now.

For some reason the pics loaded blurry so I reuploaded them.

Having some issues with my acros slowly STN. I can't figure out what's going on. About to abandon sps and go back to lps and softies. Also, I have the itch for a 200+ tank.

What are your parameters looking like? Any changes in your dosing that would irritate the coral.

How strong is your lighting? I've found that over time coral will begin to die if it he lighting isn't strong enough.
