Trizzino's Tanks.

Last test was a couple weeks ago due to out of town and now A/C unit going out.
PH: 7.8-8.1
Salinity: 1.023
Alk: 8.7
Cal:427
Phos: .06 - running carbon in reactor this week. Typically .01-.03

A/C has been out so temps spiked for a day till i could get a portable unit in the house. Temp is normally 78-79

These past 2 weeks have been rough. A/C went and Lighting was on the fritz. Logan at reefbreeders has been great trying to resolve my issues. I think they are fixed now and i turned up the lighting.

Things are looking better. Fingers crossed. Tired of watch my beautiful SPS die.

Update:

Finally got around to installing my 4 supplemental 39w T5 retrofit. I wanted it to look clean and finished so it took a lot of thinking/sketching and rework but it's done and I love it.
Took advantage of Black Friday sales and pulled the trigger (no pun intended) on a trigger emerald 39 after installing the tide line series in my dad's tank. Going to do a manifold and use the dcs1200 pump that's been sitting on a shelf for 6 months.

Now on to what every wants to see.... Pictures!

First: My tank with the retrofitted supplemental T5s.

Now on to the all day affair at my parent's house completely redoing his system. I didn't take before photos but it was a mess.

Great stuff Austin! You guys haven't seen his real work of art! I am adding the title of "Master Plumber" to the accolades above. I have seen the before and after Austin's work on his dad's 180. It is drop dead gorgeous. I know who I'm calling if I run into a plumbing nightmare! Looking good my friend!

Thanks everyone. Doug, installing your old Tideline 48 on his tank made me purchase the Trigger Emerald 39. It really is a beautiful sump. I'd be happy to help with any plumbing you need!

Operation peninsula renovations has commenced. I am in the process of building and glueing as many pieces in a modular way outside the stand to minimize tank downtime and allow for majority of glue to cure fully.

Before/Current shot of sump and equipment. It's a mess as I have been selling old parts or temporarily installing reactors knowing my renovation was coming. Just sold my skimmer.

Still got a ways to go but it is progress and I am happy with how it is coming along. Not everything is glued so it may appear crooked or offset.

Looking good my friend! Drat! Now you got me thinking about making a manifold for my already plumed system. I've got to finish my ATS first to determine where I want to mount it. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Caught the bug to get it installed today. It's not finished but at least the system is back up and running. It was nice having it modular with only a few pieces to glue once I broke down the old setup. Gotta tie up so loose ends (ATO and Algae scrubber) and clean up wiring. But here's how it sits now.

I am debating going with Radion G3 Pro's instead of the Reefbreeder. Thoughts?

Also, what are everyone's thoughts on biopellets?

Hi Austin, thanks for keeping us up on the awesome build thread!
I was wondering where you got the structural mounting brackets for the t5 upgrade? I'm looking to mount t5's in a similar fashion on my tank but i'm struggling on what to mount the endcaps to.
It looked like a 6 or 8 foot piece of angle iron or something?

I got it at Lowes. I went aluminum due to the lightness of the metal and the rigidness of the angle bend. Not to mention ease of cutting and drilling holes. They have a 2 inch as well.

I'd recommend it and would use it again in a heartbeat.

I pulled the trigger and bought 2 G3 Pro's. Wasn't about to drop the money on the new G4's since I run t5's as well. Don't need to spend twice as much for more spread.
