So far from what I have read and gathered this seems to be the only way to go if taking the rocks out isn't an option.

I did read or hear somewhere recently that kent had changed the formula and it might not be as effective as it used to be for bryopsis.

I noticed some recently in my frag tank but there isnt any rocks, any suggestions on how to get it out? manually remove it? toss the frags its on?

Toss anything that has it on it. You don't want this stuff in your tank.

well i tossed the frag racks and took the magnet out and tossed any bs coral frags that had it. Any shot of manually removing it...?

Be careful if you try and pluck it. Some pieces ended up getting away from me one time and it just served to spread it around the tank. It has a rhizoid or something that gets into pores in rock so it can keep coming back on rocks if you just pluck it or use Tech-M on it. On plastic and glass, I'm not sure if it would be able to come back or not.

Rock, magnets, frag racks, etc. could be soaked in bleach for a while and I would think that should kill it. I have not had it come back on rocks I soaked. They key is to treat it aggressively.

Hmm awesome, thanks for the input.... i cleaned up as much of it as i possibly could but i could kill whoever passed this along to me...grrr
