I need to replace a 6100 that bit the dust recently. I love the alarm feature on the 6100 that notifies you of a blockage or stuck impeller. I hate that they took that out of the 6101. I assume the 6105 does not have this feature as it is not mentioned in the manual.

Are the Tunze 6105s any good?

I have one 6105 that I got as a replacement to a 6101. I run it on an aquasurf at 000/100 and for the life of me I cannot get rid of the clicking sound. I was in contact with Roger for 2 weeks trying various things. I got an extra washer to go under the impeller to no avail. Do any of you run it on a start/stop mode?
Other then then the clicking I'm generally pleased with it.

I run mine on a 7095 controller, and when one side is going 30%-100%, the other side is stopped. I have not had the clicking problem you describe.

I've had my 6105 a few months now, and have had no problems with it at all. It replaced a 6100, and it is more adjustable with the new magnet/clamp design. It's by far the quietest pump in my tank (tunze 6100 and a vortech mp40w)
