I've got a apogee par sensor and a multimeter. If you don't mind doing a little math (multiply by 5) to get your par reading.

So you can use the sensor with a multimeter? I have a plethera of multimeters.

Yes. You take the reading off the sensor in mV and multiply by 5 to get you par reading. It's that simple.
