What do you use to cut eggcrate?

I just use the edge of a pair of closed needlenosed pliers.
Decide where you want the break and smash out the crosspiece. Clean up the sharp edges with a wood chisel.
Takes about half a minute to smash all the way across a full sheet and your hand doesn't cramp up from using the shears.
