What heater do you recomend?

I have been using stealth but I have been hearing bad things about them.

The prevailing opinion seems to be Ebo Jager (which is now owned by Eheim, so the name doesn't include "Ebo" anymore).

I've had trouble out of Stealths (either dying early or leaking voltage) and a Hydor Theo (thermostat not stuck, but set on 77 heater water to 93).

I've been using Aqueon with good luck so far.

I have to agree with that! I have always used Eheim heaters! I got a new Eheim Jager for Christmas, It is a GREAT heater! That heater keeps my tank at a constant 74.1 degrees at all times!:thumbs:

While the quality of a heater may vary, I'd take a crap heater hooked to a controller over a great heater without; any day of the week...
