True Percula. With that amount of black coloring an Onyx Clown to be exact.

Also, depending on how long that clown has been single and given the size ... probably a female.

+1 Could be a photon clown which is a hybrid as well. That is what I thought it was soon as I saw pic.

Need a closer and clearer side shot to be absolute, but every differentiating feature I can see on that pic is a perc. The designer clowns make ID a little tougher mixing traits, but i honestly dont see it in that clown. Definitely not photon ... I've had several. Never kept smokey-O, but they carry occelaris traits. Still stand by true perc ID. Seen too many in person to be anything else.

OP said 5 year old clown in most recent post ... those designer clowns weren't around then.
