what media to use in 14 biocube

im thinking Seachem SeaGel and Seachem Purigen
will that be enough
i also have live rock rubble in the bottom

I still have the biocube bio balls in my 8g and never had problems. I wash about half of them every couple of months.

Well I'm lazy and don't feel like buying and/or crushing a rock for rubble. Personally I don't have a vendetta against bioballs. They work for me :)
Biggest thing is water changes in a small tank like that. Gl

3g a week would be good. I have a 12g nanocube. I change 1/2g every day. Most folks say it's overkill but it literally takes 2 minutes. And my corals are rewarding me for the stability.

but what do you keep in the filtration section

Currently, just the standard sponges. But I keep thinking I pulling them out. There's also a mesh bag full of carbon. But that's been in there forever and is probably not doing anything. I'd say let your test results determine if you need anything in back.

Purigen for organics removal (they call it a "protein skimmer in a bag"), and SeaGel. SeaGel is a mixture of Phosguard (for phosphate control/removal) and Matrix Carbon which also removes organics and toxins.

That's what we've done in the Aquapod we keep on the counter, for years now (along with a 1-2 gallon water change weekly).

Everyone always comments on how clear the water is.
