what to do with used tank?

i had her test it and she didn't say anthing was wrong except the ammonia. will the conditioner fix it?

I'm gonna put in all the tap water from the 55g(after conditioner,buffer,and salt). the rest - old saltwater from the 150g. i'm decideing if i'm going to keep the ehime cannister filter, buy new one, sump, or nothing. how much live rock do i need for it to be my filter? should i use the cannister until i have enough? thanks

what size sump would i need? if i made my own how much $. can i still do one if my tank is not drilled? thanks

Ive seen this 100 times.

All might go fine with the tap water and then again it might not. If you are going to invest the money and the time for a reef tank RO water is the only way to go. Tap water is risky. It has silicates in it and Silicates feed Diatoms and other unwanted pest algaes.
