What's up with the foam?

Started seeing this in my return section a few days ago. Only thing I changed was adding neo nitro

How high are your nutrients? I find the dirtier the overall water is the more foam I see. A struggle I'm still battling.

That foam is no different than the foam you see at the beach on the sand. Its the nutrients and such being separated due to the small turbulence from the divider and water falling over it.

It's odd because I've never seen it in my sump until the last few days. I'm starting to wonder if I can trust my test kit and maybe I have more nutrients than I realize.

Api test kit shows undetectable, phosphate Hanna checker shows .05 although it showed. 15 5 days ago when I checked it.
