Whats wrong with my potters? All my other fish look fine! I mean he eats like a pig; Elos SV2 pellets, Rods, even flake. He spends all day grazing too..

Looks like a bite. What other fish do you have?

thats what i thought at first, the only thing bigger than him is a yellow tang. Maybe a coralbanded shrimp could have done it? i think the "bitemark" has grown since last nite, so im not really sure about that :/

I am sure the tang did not do it. As for the shrimp, could have started with him and just got worse. I have no idea.

i think ill start medicating some antibiotics tonite. Just to make sure no infection sets in. Hopefully he will keep eating :/

That sounds like a good plan. Do you have a QT or hospital tank? Might want to treat there.

i do, but i dont know about catching him. He is not very enticed by the cokebottle fishtrap. I will also see about that tonite

If its "grown", thats bad. That area is necrotic. I would suggest removing the fish and dipping it in formalin or malachite green and the ntreating with a broad antibiotic, like kanaplex.

I started treating with kanaplex on the 1st... he looks to be doing better already. the only thing i can think of is the CBS got him?

nope, nothing other than one of the 3 new bangaii's i got disappeared.. but that was over a month ago. I think he might have got too friendly with the anemone and became lunch; the anemone was closed for like 2 days after he went missing.
