I was given this anemone accumulated him and put him in the tank. He just need more time or should I find a better home for him?

Is it holding onto the rock? As long as its attached I would give it another day or so. Just keep a close eye on it.

How did you acclimate it and for how long? BTAs can handle alot of different water parameters but they dont take well to big changes.

Also how old is the tank? What kind of lighting? I would test all water parameters just to be sure.

Do you have any way to double check those numbers? Perhaps a glass thermometer, and/or double checking the calibration.

...I’m just playing the numbers game of troubleshooting. 90% of the time with issues like this, it comes back to those two parameters. Either a faulty piece of equipment, false calibration, etc...

I temp acclimated (hangs head) didn't drip acclimat didn't think of it.tank is right 3 months old. Still no nitrates or phosphate lighting is sbreef LEDs all the corals is doing good and showing signs of growth from monti to some acro to softies to leathers. Checked all prams today and calcium and alkalinity was low dosed 2.5ml of all for reef slowly

Define “low”, what are the numbers?

The temp is with the controller and a glass thermometer both are close well within 1 degree I calibrated the refracto with calibration fluid

Well by only temp acclimating you have shocked it and it may still recover. I normally would never add a nem before 6 months. They need stability and young tanks are seldom stable. I would still test all parameters and then test them again just to be sure

Just FYI my inkbird reads about 2 degrees off. I have 3 thermometers in my DT and 2 read very close and the inkbird almost 2 degrees higher
Edit...sorry I just saw you said yours is close. I can’t get mine to match the others but need to because it runs my backup heater.
