Where is a good place to get tank inspected.

Bought several used tanks from Craigslist. Need them inspected and possible filled. So anyone knows where I can get them cheap. I heard I can get them inspected at Fire Station or something. Don't want to bring to Diver supply because they will just do the same thing and charge a premium.

Any gas company medical/welding can probably test them. Fire extinguisher companies also have the ability to hydrotest. The fire department does not have this capability.

I would also recommend calling a dive shop, as they have to get their tanks inspected regularily...

if the tanks are do for hydro you can take them to holox but as for getting an inspection and sticker that will be recognized for filling I would recommend taking to a dive shop you aren't going to pay that much more unless the dive shop is trying to hose you
