My RBTA split again. Gnashty got the last split & I think it's still doing well. Will have one up for sale in a week or two once they're both healed well.

How often do they split? My gbta is getting quite large.

Edit: It's taking up a lot of premium coral space! If it were somewhere else, I wouldn't care how large it grew.

Splitting totally depends on the nem and what you do with it.

Splitting is generally stress-induced and not necessarily a sign of a "happy" nem. I've had this one about 1 1/2 yrs and this is the second split. The first split was at about 6 months. I was feeding the nems every other day or at least several times a week at that point and they grew like MAD.

Now I very rarely feed them. Like once every 2-3 weeks.

My guess is that between the recent feeding and my clowns bugging the crap out of it while they guard their eggs, it created enough stress for it to split.
