which glue for spaflex to pvc fitting

Just tried Lowes, Leslies and HD - all claimed not to carry the correct product.
But depending on who I asked I could also use:
General purpose pvc cement
Liquid nails (!!!)
And rain-r-shine cement

Anyone know where (and what) to get for the real deal?

I'm 99% sure the Rain or Shine stuff is what you want to use. My skimmer had spaflex glued to a union, and the blue color gave it away.

I was told to use regular glue and no purple primer. Worked fine for me.

I was told to use the rain and shine, blue, so I did and it worked great. No primer.

I used regular PVC glue

I called the company and asked what to use and they said RainRShine which is the blue stuff without the primer, although I still put the primer on the hard pieces first.
