Useful items and where to get them

I use a suction cup soap dish in my tank if I get loose frags. Like mushrooms that u can't just glue down. Make sure it gas plenty of holes in it for circulation. Like 2$ at lowes

I've used those too. Handy.

Around this time of year Home Dept and Lowes sells remote controlled outlets for Christmas lights. I use them on my water tank pumps when I transfer freshwater to the saltwater reservoir, use a pump to mix the saltwater, and then transfer saltwater to the main tank. There are other applications but its nice to be able to use a key fob to turn pumps on and off.

Just a note, don't put this on a pump that's intended to stay on all the time--if your electricity goes off the pump will not come back on automatically.

Where would one find a corner over flow box? Not the hanging kind, but the permanent fixture kind.

There are several people who can build you one. Fish Scales (a sponsor) can do it for you, no prob. Also there are a few really good DIY guys here. You'd be happy with the results from Chris (Fish Scales 2) or Grouper Therapy, without a doubt.

Battery powered pump with long pump stalk. One of the best things I have bought! Mine has lasted for a year so far. Plastic impeller is at the end so siphoning is a breeze...

I would call Ewing [1465d Howell Mill Rd. NW Atlanta, GA 30318-4223
(404) 352-4243]. Last time I was in there (3 months ago) I know they had grey schedule 80
