Anyone have these? They're not everywhere but they seem to be spreading.

Little calcareous tubeworms. Harmless. Filter feeders.

Can you have too many of these creatures? I was told by a local fish store that they are a menace and to scrape them off and try and capture all of them and get them out of your tank.

Can you add anything more here?
 
Well I would scrape them off the viewing areas of the tank but otherwise I wouldn't worry about them.

I've never heard of them being referred to as a "menace". I guess they could be a bit inconvenient on the front glass, but if you clean your viewing areas regularly they shouldn't get a chance to form there.
