I know some do and some don't, but wanted to see what the club does. So, other than light, trace elements, and an unsuspecting vertebrate (like your prized flame angel!, who feeds and how frequently?

Thank you and enjoy the poll results!

I feed my carpet nem a small cocktail shrimp about every 2 weeks, but he does fine without it....I wonder where my peppermint shrimp have been going....

I feed mine anything from fresh squid, to shrimp, to scallops, to clams every few days. Probably no more than twice a week. He usually grabs a krill or two when it lands on him when I'm feeding my triggers as well, so he could probably go without my feedings...

I've tried with the pellet food. It'll eat it, but, ends up throwing it back up later.

My clowns try to keep up with feeding it as well, but they are small, and can only deliver so much food.

I use to go to Kroger and ask to buy one shrimp . They always gave it to me free because it was to light for there scales. Them just cut it up into pieces and feed every three days

I've never fed mine directly. Pretty sure it gets some mysis whenever I feed the fish.

I used to feed mine daily either a piece of krill or a 1/2 teaspoon (thawed cube) of mysis shrimp. However, for the past 18 months I have not fed mine anything since I wanted them to remain small and are doing fine.

I used to feed mine shrimp once a week but it got HUGE. Was taking up too much real estate. It has split twice since then and is a much more manageable size without the excessive feeding.

i dont have any nems right now but back when i did id feed them bits of silver side or mysis or whatever my fish were getting at the time and it would take just about anything. my gold stripe maroon used to feed its nem large shrimp pellets when i would feed them. it would eat one for itself and then grab another and take it back to the nem and spit it out close to the nems mouth

I feed mine once a week...I have a Clarkii clownfish..thanks 2ruble....LOL..that feeds it also.

I voted when they look hungry but in reality it's whenever I'm not too lazy to do it. Which equates anywhere from 2x/week to once every 6 months.

I have left them without direct feeding for 6 months and they all did just fine, and I've fed the crap out of them and they did just fine.
