Optimum in Kennesaw had one yesterday. Small about 3-4 inches. They get them in from time to time.

One of te hardest tangs to keep alive in a home aquarium. A tang that is best off left in the sea. Although I've seen a few people have success with them, but not many. Best of luck!

Thats what I hear and hopefully someone has one on here and she some light on keeping them alive.

If you decide to try one... I hope you have a HUGE tank... minimum 6' even for a smaller specimen. They are very active, very fast swimmers and they stress in small spaces.

Quarantine is AN ABSOLUTE MUST... these fish are extremely prone to ich and protozoan infestations. Given that they stress very easily this can be a recipe for disaster if you don't quarantine first and treat at the first sign of problems.

I've never personally seen one last long-term. I don't even bring them in. I might if somebody had an appropriate system and a quarantine suitable, but otherwise, they are a beautiful fish but best left in the wild, IMO.

Marine Design has two of them. One in their main display tank and a smaller one in their stock tank. I think they wanted $179.

A smaller one and with minimal rock work. Lotsa flow and food along with religious water changes/great water quality. No aggressive competition for food. QT setup?

Here is a link to some info. on keeping this fish on RC.
It's a long read.
