who you with???

Padi. or as a Naui certified diver said, "Put Another Dollar In"
I replied to him "Not Another underwater Idiot" and shook my head.

It was all in good fun. its all about being underwater.

NAUI:

Open/Advanced/Divemaster/ and several small technical certs thrown in the mix.

Is one any better then the other? I'm like you lets just go under the water.

I wouldn't think so. all are going to teach you the basics and how to dive safe. I am sure that are some differences between all of them. what those are I do not know.

at one time PADI and NAUI use to be the same... ALONGGGG time ago (at least i think it was those two), and they split based on a disagreement on how things should be run. Originally PADI was all about money, as they had all these little specialties, like underwater basket weaving...(not really, but you get the idea), where as NAUI just wanted to teach you how to dive, and if you wanted to go further you could, by doing advanced, resuce, divemast, instructor, intructor trainer, and master diver.....

Now, NAUI and PADI both have underwater basket weaving.....

PADI is now even offering a Whale Shark certification specific to Georgia Aquarium...

NAUI all the way.....PADI (Pay Another Dollar in) example, the whale Shark cert above :)
