I just don't get it! I've had 3 different types oz Xenia in my tank. I got two chunks of it last week. They looked like they were doing ok. Now the pink xenia with the pretty highlights is doing beautifully but the blue xenia that was right next to it is officially dead as of this morning. One's proliferating and one bites the dust.

< Does not understand.

My neon green star polyps haven't been open in about a week as well but, I have lots of zoas, palys, mushrooms, rainbow monti and a birds nest doing great!

***?!:rocketwhore:

I can't keep any Xenia, I was trying to keep some in my fuge. just melts. It happens.

Xenia love dirty water....if you param's are perfect it doesn't seem to thrive. Hence why I could always grow gardens of the stuff!!!

I love your answer.

I had a rock of it and it did much better in low light than high light. I just lost it because my emerald crabs ate it. NEVER GET EMERALD CRABS!!!

I never had an issue with emerald crabs either... the worst that ever happened was the crab dying.

I have (more liek had) both pieces of xenia in the bottom back corner of my tank because I know they can grow like the plague. I bought an arrow crab the same day as the xenia to take care of my bristleworm issue... I noticed it spends most of its time in that corner. I also have asterina...

Well, I gave xenia a shot again and, It lasted about a month. Star polyps are open and thriving as is just about everyting else. the original problem I thought was found and solved was pH. The only other poor looking piece is finger leather... which looked really great for the first week

I've begun having poor luck with shrimp... which wasn't a problem for 3 years. all the other inverts are doing well.

Temps been between 72-78

Someone jacked my emerald crab yesterday :(

I saw him limping around on the sand and thought ***.... Then I noticed his 3 right legs were gone.

I don't know who the culprit is yet. Either a blue hermit or the eel I'm guessing.

haha... pending outcome of the trademark suit from the Western Taco Foundation. :lol2:

It's all about the children ya know? We wouldn't want them seeing the same things here that they get on the playground and on their cell phones.

This post you answered is over 5 months old!:D

Anyways, the language filter gets it. The Moderators don't. I suppose the rationale is just because kids may see the acronym other locations, it doesn't mean they have to see it here as well.

The ARC Website is family friendly, so with that promise comes responsibility to maintain it as such.

LOL... Doh! I always (well, apparently not) check for that too!

I'm just poking fun of y'all. In the end, we're GUESTS here and need to abide by the confines we are given. It's all good

True story though, the Wisconsin Tourism Foundation (or federation, I forget) had to change their name and website after they FINALLY got the joke that they became.

That's so funny...... On so many levels!

The last expensive frag I bought was Blue Xenia and it lasted about a week. Funny that it thrived in a tiny 14g BC but wont in my current set up....

my xenia's growing like crazy and spitting out buds. I wish it would stop, or at least slow down.

Look what I just found in the website available smileys?
