Starts today....
Tank Move/Upgrade 75 to 120 - 20 minutes between homes
pre-work ( done )
* +25 lb pourous dry rock ( 125+ total )
** +15 in current tank to bake
* +1 Liter Seachem Matrix to bake
Day 1
* Temp. hook up of RODI
* Setup new tank, stand and sump ( 40g breeder )
** Route drain/return lines through wall into spair BR closet to sump
** Single Jebao WP40 for flow
** Small return pump to get some circulation in sump when needed
* add dry sand ( 80 lb ), rinsed several times
* Fill DT with RODI water, minimize sand stir ( sump empty )
** Some made before hand and transported and the remainder made onsite
* Install heater to achieve appropriate temp
* Add salt to DT to achieve matching salinity
* Add Stability and Prime ( Just in case )
* Make 25 gallons salt water for top off after everything is added
Day 2 ( or 3 depending )
* Lights out in current DT night before to ensure everything is calm
Trip 1
* Remove rock from original DT, including attached anemone and corals
** Transport using rubbermaid containers with water covering rock
* Add to new DT
** Monitor sump to ensure overflow capacity
Trip 2 ( still Day 2 )
* Remove fish,CUC and remaining corals
** transport corals and fish in rubbermaid and other containers
** fish and corals separate
** 1 cup sand ( skimmed off top )
* Add sand to new DT
* Drip acclimate corals/fish to new tank params
** Add corals/fish
* Top off sump to appropriate levels
Trip 3 ( still Day 2 )
* disassemble old sump materials, skimmer, pumps, ATO, 2 part pumps
** Install into new sump
Day 3 - Move remainder of house, family and dogs ( in that order )
