You think I should try and pull it out or let it do it's thing?
Flow should get it eventually. You can also use tweezers to pull or gently knock it off if you really want. I just let nature do its thing unless it appears to be stuck on the coral after. I changed how that chalice frag was facing, so that the poop didn’t get stuck on that piece sticking up.
Huh. You know... I know many corals consume more than just light, but I inherently think of them as photosynthesizers. I do also think of them as "coral animals", but... it just never occurred to me that they'd do any form of waste elimination other than respiration. Of the ones I had many years back, this was not an event/occurrence I ever witnessed or had to consider.
Whatever it was it's gone now. Glad I left it alone
