Yellow coris in a BB?

Did a quick search, but didn't find the thread I was looking for. I think I remember one of the BB folks on here having a yellow coris wrasse. Do they REQUIRE a sand bed for burrowing/hiding, or can they successfully be kept in a BB tank?
The reason I ask is because I have a small problem with vermetids I cannot quite seem to get over and was looking to hire a hit man. I think the lined wrasses are another alternative, but the last 6-line I had was a little bully. May be an option now that the otehr inhabitants are well established and get along well.

MvM's TOTM Solana. Beauty of a BB setup, but with a little sandbox.....should be what you are looking for - click on the following link:

I don't know if they absolutely have to have sand, but the two I have sleep in it every night and dive in if they are startled so I would expect long term that they should have it. If you're set on getting one then maybe what jcusmarine said may be workable if the sandbox was large enough.

Thanks for the suggestions, and Matt's use of a sandbox is pretty much what I figured I would do on my tank. With my 185, I have plenty of real estate for a good size sand box (with high sides to contain the sand) and have a good idea where I can put it that does not have a ton of flow. I even have the sand in my RDSB I can just take a tiny bit off the top. May even make a good spot for a nice clam...
