Saw one today at Deep Blue Aquatics...it looks awesome! Does anybody have any experience with raising a seahorse in a 29 gallon biocube? Currently, I have a clown, a yellow tank, and a six line wrasse. Do you think he will survive?

it can be done if the flow is low enough...rit has a had a few in 29g biocubes before that have done well...and i agree...no tangs no matter how small they appear in a biocube please

Not with those room-mates.

Seahorses are social - they do better in pairs or groups (even same-gender "pairs").

Yellow tang is not a good choice for such a small tank. He'll be OK for a while if he's really tiny, but you'd best have an exit plan for him.

I wouldn't put a seahorse in with your current inhabitants, and if you have any stinging corals, then it's definitely a no.

Thanks for the responses-I will hold off on the seahorse.

As for all the comments about the tang, he is 1". I do plan on upgrading to a new tank soon, so no worries.
