I have these zoa’s that are attached to an old piece of coral. They started of as just tiny specks and have grown into these healthy specimens. I’d like to move some to my DT but as you see they seem to be pretty tightly attached to their current home. Can I just scalpel them off? Will they survive? Appreciate any tips

You can either try and scalpel them off, or break the rock up that they are on. Scalpel may be difficult on porous rock. Bone cutters or something similar may be able to cut the rock around the zoas and lift them off in chunks.
