Zoe colonies are melting!!

Hmmm I can see emeralds eating dead/dying polyps, but not necessarily killing them. Often the clean up critter who takes care of the carcass, gets the blame for the death.

Smoking gun, and all that...

It is the one number I don't test for. I got mag with the brs 2 part but I have to used it. Kinda scared to dose something I can't test for. LFS will not test for Mg or Po4. Go figure

If you see white dot looking stuff on any of the closed/melting ones, check this link: http://www.zoaid.com/articles004.php">http://www.zoaid.com/articles004.php</a>

If it's pox, on that page there is a treatment protocol using Furan-2. It's an off-label use for a commonly available fish medication. I know The Fish Store has it in stock, most local stores should have it or can get it, but time is of the essence since IF that is what is going on, it's running pretty rampant, from the sound of things.

I did look them over with a mag glass and I think it's in the coloration of the exterior of the polyp. I went ahead and did a 4 min h2 o2 dip last night. I'll look for any improvement when I get home tonight

Ok well looks like a little come back on the sunny d's tonight. This is what I found when I got home. Lost a few polyps, bam bam's are toast and hornets have 2 p's left.

I really hope they all come back. All you need is one. Glad they are looking better.

look into vitamin c dosing. It helps zoas n palys heal, reproduce, and color up.

I'm experience its very hard to keep good looking zoas with sps. It can be done but its very hard. What it sounds like is that your water isn't Dirty enough
